Aluminum inverted dome tweeter

A Focal signature, the inverted dome tweeter design offers wide dispersion, perfect for filling your entire space with sound. Of course, being a Focal design, the aluminum tweeter used in all 100 series in-ceiling and in-wall speakers delivers incredible detail and dynamics - without fatigue - at an affordable price point.

Polyglass midbass driver

Known for their relentless pursuit of great sound through continued investment in research and development, Focal brings cutting-edge technology to all price points, including their entry-level 100 series speakers. The polyglass driver cone features fine glass microbeads applied to cellulose pulp. The end result is a material nearly 10 times as rigid as polypropylene. Polyglass is lightweight, rigid, and self-damping and is the reason Focal 100 series speakers deliver class-leading sound quality, with a detailed and lifelike midrange paired with deep and controlled bass.

Adjustable treble control

You can tailor the high-frequency output of Focal 100 series speakers to suit both the acoustics of your space and your personal taste. With neutral and +/- 3 dB settings, you will be able dial in the sound just as you like it. As these adjustments are made in the crossover, there will be no loss of resolution in making this adjustment.

Creative Audio Pro Tips

This speaker will sound great right out of the box, but after 50-100 hours of use it will be fully broken in and sound even better.
Given their impedance characteristic, two 100 OD 8 speakers can be connected to a single channel of a suitably capable amplifier.
