You can’t cheat physics, and the reality is if you want to effortlessly fill a large room with great sound, you need to move a lot of air and that means you need a larger speaker. Focal’s Theva No. 3 is the flagship model of their entry-level Theva series, and it manages to full off this feat without sacrificing quality of sound. In fact, there’s an effortless character to its sound; because of the size of the drivers and cabinet, the Theva No. 3 can move a lot of air with ease. Like all of the models in the Theva series, the No. 3 is equally at home in both stereo and home theater settings. You’ll be treated to legendary Focal sound: accurate, detailed, and dynamic. Its sound is never overwhelming however. The Theva No. 3 will overtake you with sound when required but it can also scale down for a solo guitar or piano and wow you with ‘you-are-there’ presence and detail. Give it the space it needs and the Focal Theva No. 3 will sing.

Sound Advice

  • The Focal Theva No. 3 will sound great right out of the box, but it will sound better after 50 - 100 hours of use.

  • For best results, we recommend a minimum of 24” of distance from the back wall to the back of the speaker.
