The Creative Audio Review

When Naim released the original Mu-so, it was hard to imagine it could get any better. Then came the 2nd generation version, and our jaws hit the floor. In collaboration with Focal, Naim had managed to improve every aspect of the Mu-so’s performance. The design is similar, and still gorgeous. The dark brushed metal exudes class with the subtle contour on the front grille softening the look. Every single aspect of the sonic performance of the Mu-so has been improved. We love demoing the Naim Mu-so 2 for clients because it always elicits a joyous reaction. That sound is coming from that? Yes it sure is! For many this wireless speaker system could serve as a complete system replacement. It is that good. Control is as easy as it ever was, and we love that they have included a remote control for quick volume adjustments. Add your own style by replacing the standard black grille with one of the optional coloured grilles (available in peacock, terra cotta, or olive).

The Naim Mu-so 2 does have WiFi built-in, however we always recommend a wired ethernet connection if available.
The Naim Mu-so 2 will sound great right out of the box but it will sound even better after 50+ hours of use, once the speakers and electronics have had time to break in.
