Handcrafted in Italy

Olympica Nova is crafted by artisans at Sonus faber’s factory in Northern Italy. The cabinets are constructed from eight layers of curved wood for enhanced rigidity. Unwanted resonances are further reduced by internal structural ribs. Italian leather encircling the drivers and solid die-cast aluminum trim pieces add a touch of luxury to the design.

Natural Sound

The core philosophy of Sonus faber is realized in Olympica Nova through their driver technology, including the Damped Apex Dome soft dome tweeter which delivers smooth, extended highs. This sweetness is matched by the midrange which reproduces the human voice with stunning naturalism.

Stealth Ultraflex

Traditional bass ports add distortion, ruining the impact of low frequencies. Sonus faber’s unique porting system on Olympica Nova models optimizes airflow patterns with the wave-like cabinet shape and then out through the solid aluminum spine. This system regulates air speed and minimizes turbulence-based distortions for bass that is deep and defined.

The Sonus faber Olympica Nova III will sound great from the moment you start playing them, but they will sound even better after 100 hours of use, after the drivers are broken in.

For best results, we recommend you experiment with the placement of this speaker in relation to the wall behind it. In most situations we’d recommend a distance of 18-36”.
A good quality speaker wire with banana plug connectors will give the Sonus faber Olympica Nova III the opportunity to sound its best.
