From Vicenza in northeastern Italy to Winnipeg in the centre of Canada, Creative Audio brings you Sonus faber. True artisans of sound, Sonus faber has been handcrafting speakers for over 40 years. Each design is a work of art, with cabinets of stunning finishing quality and drivers that deliver the company’s signature natural sound.

Handcrafted

Sonus faber designs and builds every driver used in their designs, even in the entry-level Lumina series. They feature unique technology including:

  • Damped Apex Dome soft silk tweeters

  • Camelia midrange drivers

  • Cellulose pulp and natural fibre woofers

Intense focus is also placed on the crossover design, lowering noise and improving dynamics. Many feature Clarity Cap capacitors, developed exclusively for Sonus faber.

Polished

The cabinet of a Sonus faber speaker is a work of art, and features as much technology as their drivers and crossovers. These include:

  • Lute-shaped designs inspired by great Italian violin makers

  • Internal chambers made from cork, both natural and sustainable

  • Stealth Ultraflex ports

Every Sonus faber speaker cabinet is finished by professional Italian cabinetmakers and lacquer specialists.

Stunning

The level of fit and finish of a Sonus faber speaker is unmatched in the industry.

With cabinet designs of natural materials and shapes, they add elegance to any home.

Most importantly, their sound has garnered them praise, accolades, and awards from the world’s hi-fi press. All of the major publications are represented - Stereophile, The Absolute Sound, Hi-Fi News, What Hi-Fi?, Hi-Fi Choice, The Ear, Trusted Reviews.

Lumina

Lumina

LUxury. MInimalist. NAtural. These are the pillars upon which the Sonus faber Lumina series is built. Just as the Italian speaker maker’s most expensive models feature luxurious, natural materials, so too does the Lumina series. Cabinets wrapped in leather, front panels of real wood, and drivers made from natural materials. The end result is the legendary Sonus faber sound made more affordable than ever before.
