The Creative Audio Review

There are some hi-fi products that are overachievers, and the Naim Audio SUPERNAIT 3 is one of them. This is Jeff’s favourite integrated amp in the store, and its easy to hear why. Even Naim themselves must know they’ve got something special going on with this amp, as it has been seen at hi-fi shows powering Focal Sopra No. 2 - not the level of speaker you’d expect to see an integrated amp powering, but it makes total sense. Yes, the SUPERNAIT 3 is that good. We’ve never heard an integrated amp with such poise and control. The Naim SUPERNAIT 3 never looses its footing, even through the most complex passages. The control this amp has is unbelievable, but don’t think that means it is constraining the music - far from it. Like all Naim amps, what impresses most about the SUPERNAIT 3 is just how the music flows so easily. You may have had a good amp before but when you hear this one you realise it wasn’t so good after all. This is an integrated amp that delivers a performance you’d expect from a preamp/power amp combo. All of that in one box at a fraction of the price you’d expect. This is a solid gold hi-fi buy if ever there was one.
